ABOUT

Candy is a mother, wife, grandmother,  caseworker, entrepreneur, public speaker, author, and  an artist. She has an AB in Sociology and Psychology,  a Master's degree in Business Administration Healthcare Management, and is currently pursuing  her PhD in Grief Counseling.

 

She is a resilient storyteller and advocate who turned personal tragedy into a mission of hope and healing. Through her candid and heartfelt writing, she shares the lessons she learned about navigating loss, embracing resilience, and discovering joy again. She is also an  itinerant minister who speaks in churches, helping others find strength in their journey from grief to healing.  In her spare time, she finds solace in arts, nature and connecting with others who have faced similar challenges, She dabbles in neurographic art, using the technique to explore emotions and nurture healing. I Survived Grief: Finding Life After Loss is her inspiring debut, offering hope and strength to anyone in search of light in their darkest moments.
